Original illustration by Miminne
This is the original illustration by Miminne, for the purpose of this assignment I will recreate the left image. Bold colours were used in this image, Black Red and white are three colours that complement each other well. The design of the garments are very simple yet detailed. Using water colours to add simple lines makes this illustration very unique.

This is where I traced around the original image. I also re drew the eyes, nose and mouth on a large scale so all details could be broken down properly. When the illustration was broken down, it showed how simple the drawing is but when combined together it all worked, which makes it a great illustration!!
Illustration - using watercolour paints
After the illustration was copied on layout paper, it was drew onto paper, I then painted it in with water colour paint using the appropriate colours.
